Mariana Cruz is a Ph.D. Chemical Engineer with over a decade of experience in laboratory research, quality control, and scientific consulting. She has worked in both academic and industrial settings across Brazil and Portugal, including roles at Novo Nordisk, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, and Nova University Lisbon.

Her background includes expertise in analytical methods (HPLC, GC/MS, spectrophotometry), bioprocess engineering, fermentation, and lab data validation. Mariana is also a published researcher with award-winning papers in bioenergy and bioprocess optimization.

As the founder of CruzTech Consulting, she helps labs and startups across Europe implement high-quality, compliant lab practices—offering services in quality control systems, SOP development, analytical support, training, and publication preparation.
